Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use websites, applications, software, web applications, SaaS services, and related services across supported platforms from Share Media LLC.
Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Services operated under or associated with Share Media LLC and/or tvapps.dev unless a specific Service displays a separate privacy notice. It covers our websites and software made available for supported television, mobile, desktop, and web platforms.
Third-party platforms, app stores, payment providers, and external websites have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not control how those third parties process information for their own purposes.
2. Adults only
Our Services are intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit people under 18 to create accounts, purchase, subscribe to, or use the Services, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it and terminate any associated account where appropriate.
3. Information we may collect
Information you provide
Depending on the Service, you may provide information such as an email address, account credentials, recovery or verification information, settings, support messages, feedback, or information you choose to store or synchronize through the Service.
Account and service data
Some Services create account identifiers, device identifiers, subscription status records, configuration data, authentication records, synchronization data, or other information needed to provide the features you request. The exact data varies by Service.
Purchase and subscription information
When you purchase or subscribe through a payment provider or platform, we may receive information such as a transaction or customer identifier, product or subscription purchased, payment status, renewal status, purchase date, and in some cases an email address or limited billing information. We generally do not receive or store your full payment-card number when payment is processed by a third-party payment provider.
Technical, security, and log information
Our servers and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the Services, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or app version, operating system, device type, network information, error information, and security or authentication events. We use this information for operation, debugging, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and security.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information contained in your message and any information you choose to provide, such as an app name, device type, screenshots, logs, or purchase details.
4. Analytics
Some of our websites use privacy-focused analytics, including Umami, to understand aggregate website use and improve performance. In its standard configuration, Umami does not use cookies and does not store personally identifiable information. It may produce anonymized or aggregated metrics such as page views, referrers, browser, operating system, device type, and approximate country information.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, account content, passwords, payment-card data, or other directly identifying account information to Umami for ordinary website analytics.
Some websites may also use Cloudflare for content delivery, security, performance, and web traffic measurement. Cloudflare may process technical request information according to its own privacy terms.
We do not use third-party advertising networks to build behavioral advertising profiles through our Services.
5. Payments
Payments may be handled by services such as Stripe, Roku Pay, or another app store or platform billing provider. Those providers process payment and transaction information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Stripe, for example, may process identifying, transaction, device, network, and payment information for payment processing, fraud prevention, authentication, legal compliance, and related services. Purchases made through Roku or another app marketplace are also subject to that platform’s privacy practices and account settings.
6. How we use information
We may use information described in this Policy to:
- provide, operate, authenticate, synchronize, and maintain the Services;
- process or confirm purchases, subscriptions, renewals, and account entitlements;
- respond to support requests and pre-purchase questions;
- protect accounts, detect abuse or fraud, and investigate security events;
- diagnose errors, improve reliability, and develop or improve features;
- understand aggregate website and Service usage;
- send important transactional, security, billing, or Service-related communications;
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect legal rights; and
- carry out other purposes you specifically request or authorize.
7. Legal bases where applicable
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process personal information as necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, protect users and others, and, where required, based on your consent.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, although withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
8. How we disclose information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Hosting, infrastructure, security, email, analytics, support, and other vendors that help us operate the Services.
- Payment and platform providers. Payment processors, app stores, device platforms, and subscription platforms involved in your purchase or use of a Service.
- Legal and safety reasons. When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, lawful requests, prevent fraud or abuse, investigate security issues, or protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transactions. In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
- At your direction. When you ask us to disclose information or use a feature that requires disclosure.
We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Cookies and local storage
Our websites do not require advertising cookies. Umami’s standard analytics tracking is cookie-free. A particular Service, security feature, authentication flow, or third-party payment or platform page may use cookies, local storage, or similar technology when necessary to maintain a session, remember preferences, prevent abuse, or complete a transaction.
Third-party pages you visit, including payment and app-platform pages, control their own cookies and similar technologies.
10. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide an active Service or account, maintain security and fraud-prevention records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, tax, or platform obligations.
Retention periods vary by the type of information and Service. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to technical backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system, network, transmission method, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your credentials, recovery information, devices, and local copies of data associated with the Services.
12. International processing
Our Services and service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
13. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal certain privacy decisions.
Residents of jurisdictions with additional privacy rights may also have the right to know categories or specific pieces of personal information collected, request correction or deletion, and opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To make a privacy request, use our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.
14. Third-party links and platform accounts
The Services may link to third-party websites or depend on accounts you maintain with a device manufacturer, operating-system provider, app marketplace, payment processor, or other platform. Their collection and use of information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Policy.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, technology, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes take effect and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
16. Contact
For privacy questions, privacy-rights requests, support, or questions about a Service, use our Contact page.
